A Campground for Equestrian Campers
RV & Tent Campers Too!
Rock Bottom Horse Camp is located in Ewing, Virginia at the east end of Cumberland Gap National Historical Park. Park trails are a short ride from the campground and offer views of the White Rocks, Sand Cave and Hensley Settlement.
The park offers 70+ miles of backcountry riding with three equestrian style camp sites and over 85 miles of hiking trails.

Tour Our Campground
We are just getting started so please bear with us as we grow.
For now, this is what we have to offer.
Horse Trailer / RV Sites
Our campground has 8 sites for your horse trailer or RV. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring.
Site lengths
1 - 70' site for the longest of rigs (site 1)
4 - 60' sites (sites 2, 4, 5, 6)
3 - 50' sites (sites 3, 7, 8)
All sites have water and 50/30/20 amp electrical connections.
Tent Sites
Our tent sites are separate from the main part of the campground. Located between two creeks they are within walking distance to the main camp yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet.
Horse Stalls
We have 8 stalls and 8 corrals for keeping your animals safe.
4 stalls are 10' x 14' solid wood sides
4 stalls are 10' x 16' with divider panels
Our uncovered corrals are 12' x '12
All stalls and corrals have a limestone sand base.
